Hi, this is Rusty…not really sure what to tell you about me that you don’t already know from listening to the Walker Daniels Morning show.
I have no problem with “over-share” and have been guilty of giving “TMI” more than once! But just to recap: I am a helicopter mother and a damn good one too. My daughter Sydney is attending Washburn University and a member of a sorority, which I love ‘cause it gives me a chance to smother 50 more girls with motherly attention! I have the best husband EVER…and I should know, cause I have had several to compare him to! His name is Sterling. Together we LOVE to compete in SASS cowboy action shooting and I also compete in Cowboy Mounted shooting…so basically I believe girls with guns RULE!!
And one of my goals in life is to win as many belt buckles as possible in these two sports! I have a black and white paint gelding named “Cowboy” who puts up with my foolishness of mounted shooting. I also have a miniature horse, “Shorty the wonder horse” who I take to appearances and parades and I also have a “daug-ter” named Annie. She is a 3 lb teacup poodle.
So between all that and working with Jim Daniels on the morning show, what else is there? I hope you check out our facebook page to see all kinds of pictures and videos and silly crap that we think is funny. www.facebook.com/walker.daniels Feel free to drop me an email anytime at EMAIL ME

Thank you for clicking on my page! I started at 94.5 Country in February of 2007 and it has been a pleasure waking up NE Kansans each weekday with my morning show partner Rusty Walker. Great things about this job (if you can call it work) include meeting new people, helping community organizations spread the word about the great services they provide, and Country Stampede in Manhattan each June. Giving away cash or tickets to some of your favorite events ranks high on my list too!
Outside of work I like to spend my time watching movies, walking or bike riding along the Shunga Trail, camping, barbecuing, attending concerts, working in the yard, traveling, and learning how to play guitar. I volunteer to deliver meals for Meals On Wheels on a regular basis.
If you have any questions or comments, always feel free to email me EMAIL ME or call the studio line (785) 297-9494 any weekday between 5:30am and 9:00am.
