Join us for an inspiring event on Sunday, October 20, 2024, at Kay McFarland’s Japanese Garden and Venue at the Topeka Zoo, where we celebrate the remarkable journey of Dr. Jerry Farley, former president of Washburn University and an accomplished pilot. From 12:30 PM to 2:00 PM, attendees will experience a heartfelt presentation of his lasting legacy online story, “The Journey of a Life,” culminating in the prestigious Wright Brothers Master Pilot Award presentation.
Dr. Farley has had a profound impact on education and aviation in Kansas. As president of Washburn University, he guided the institution through significant growth and transformation, enhancing its reputation and expanding its academic offerings. His leadership strengthened the university’s mission and inspired countless students to pursue their dreams.
