Making Strides Against Breast Cancer

My story about cancer started with a lump on my throat three plus years ago.  I noticed it but since it didn’t hurt I thought it would just go away, but it didn’t and after a month or so I decided to make an appointment to see my doctor.  After running a few test and getting the results back my doctor told me that I have “Tonsil Cancer” (which is an easier way to say what type of cancer I had then the technical term).  My treatment was 6 Chemo and 35 Radiation treatments.  After going through the Chemo and Radiation my Cancer was gone!  I’m three years plus Cancer free, I still have 2 more years of seeing my doctors to make sure I’m on the path to a full recovery.

I’m raising money to help the American Cancer Society fund cancer research, patient support, and advocacy efforts to end breast cancer as we know it, for everyone.
