Spring is here and the travel season is underway. So is construction on our highways. This week we give special attention and thanks to the men and women working to keep our roads smooth and in good repair. Kim Stich with the Kansas Department of Transportation (KDOT) recently spoke with Jim Daniels about highway safety and Work Zone Awareness Week. In fact this Wednesday (4/13/22) is Wear Orange Day to highlight the fact that orange means slow down/safety first.
Remember, highway maintenance workers are there to ultimately make your trips safer by maintaining the roadways. Please be patient and give them a brake.
